Designed to get an EDI Windows support
team trained in product setup and configuration,
becoming operational with partners and
transactions quickly and economically.
This four-day program is designed for
new or existing customers. Learn the features,
functions and benefits of EDI Windows.
We will show you how to use the EDI Windows
toolset including the configuration, mapping
and job management program, reports, various
utilities, and processing scripts.
Once trained, your team will be able
to use the tools to interchange transaction
files with your applications, translate
application data to and from EDIFACT or
X12 formats, as well as connect to one
or more communication network(s) of your
choice to exchange EDI messages through
a VAN or directly with your partners. |
| |
  |
Scripts for translation
and communication procedures are provided
with the software, and EDI Windows includes
automated job scheduling for these scripts.
Extensive activity logging and reporting
are also provided. Acknowledgments (X12-997)
are automatically generated and sent.
Received acknowledgments are matched to
sent documents. |
| |
  |
| The translation module uses configuration
information about partners, transactions,
file maps, and EDI standards to translate
incoming EDI messages into transaction files
for your application to process. It is also
used to translate transaction files from
your application(s) into EDI transactions
to be sent to your partners, via one or
more networks. |
| |
  |
| All X12 / EDIFACT standards and transaction
support is included with the software. Transaction
data received may be printed, or "mapped"
into file formats you define for your application(s)
to process. Mapping is also used to selectively
pick data out of application data files
for creation of EDI transactions to send
to your partners. |
