| Many
tools in one. It's a database migration
tool, moving TurboImage and Allbase and
KSAM to Eloquence, Oracle, SQL Server and
DB2. It's a database explorer letting you
see what is in your existing database and
letting you define rules for migration.
It's a JDBC Explorer telling you what the
capabilities of your JDBC drivers are. It's
a data access and transformation tool, letting
you select, extract and import data, using
an SQL wizard to generate SQL, which can
be saved for later use. Distributed queries
are also supported. |

| VPLUS forms are a major issue with
many HP 3000 sites. When coupled with
MPUX edWin handles all screen I/O. edWin
moves the screen I/O entirely away from
VPlus but maintains the interface to the
application so that code does not need
to be modified. edWin/3K includes an emulator
for just that reason. The resulting code
can be Wingspan for character mode terminals,
JAVA for browsers or on top of a JAVA
VM or HTML for displaying XML forms. |

relocation tools and true emulation products
ViaNova succeeds in transferring your
application environment with very few
changes. |
| A VPLUS conversion
tool kit which extracts screen information
from a VPLUS formfile and delivers it
as ready-made GUI screens to the AcuBench®
IDE (Integrated Development Environment),
as though the screens had been created
initially in that IDE. An optional replacement
VPLUS API written in ACUCOBOL-GT® allows
applications to retain their existing
VPLUS calls, and at run-time the API resolves
these calls and makes calls to the new
ACUCOBOL-GT® GUI screens. |
| The T2C Transact Migration Solution
converts procedural Transact Code into
COBOL and utilizes a Transact Class Library
to support migration to HP-UX and Linux.
Uniquely the converted code is compatible
with HP COBOL II, and the Transact Class
Library is available for MPE/iX. This
approach means that the conversion from
Transact to COBOL can be tested and even
implemented on the HP 3000 prior to migration. |
| A complete tool designed to migrate
HP 3000 COBOL, SPL, C, FORTRAN and Pascal
application environments to the HP 9000,
Integrity Itanium, Windows, Linux, Sun
or AIX platforms. |

| Three types of Component Adapters:
Data Component Adapters
provide re-usable SQL services, with services
based interfaces direct to your relational
and non-relational data. Screen
Component Adapters provide a
fast to implement, non-intrusive means
of connecting to terminal-based application
'screens-flows' to provide component-based
services. Language Component Adapters
allow you to simply and quickly transform
existing business rules and logic code
into high-performance re-usable Web or
application services that can be integrated
into new applications or enterprise application
servers. |
