| ODBCLink/SE is a Special Edition of UDALink-MPE
created for HP by MB Foster which enables
32-bit ODBC database connectivity. From1996
to 2006, HP distributed ODBCLink/SE to HP
customers as part of the HP 3000 IMAGE/SQL
and HP 3000/HP 9000 ALLBASE/SQL product
bundles. |
| Since January 1, 2007, HP ceased to distribute
ODBCLink/SE with the operating systems or
bundle it with IMAGE/SQL or ALLBASE/SQL
operating systems. HP no longer provides
basic phone support patches or updates for
the product. Customers have been encouraged
by HP to go directly to MB Foster for the
complete ODBC product (UDALink). MB Foster
UDALink is part of a product set that allows
access to data on the HP 3000 or HP 9000
(HP UNIX). |

| UDALink is a fully featured product from
MB Foster which provides 32 and 64-bit ODBC
and JDBC interfaces to IMAGE, ALLBASE, KSAM,
and MPE flat files of MPE/iX and is available
for HP-UX and Linux. Standard features are
complemented by additional products in the
UDA (Universal Data Access) Series, including
JDBC, J2EE capability, MBF-SSL (Secure Socket
Layer), MBF-RPC (Remote Procedure Call),
MBF-Console, UDACentral - a 'drag and drop'
data extraction and migration solution and
UDASynch - to replicate or synchronize databases. |
