MB Foster is announcing that its UDA Series product UDALink for MPE supports the Windows 8 operating system and its JDBC2 driver has been enhanced to support JDBC3 and JDBC4. As a leading ODBC and JDBC solution provider for multi-platform data access, data delivery, client server, data migration and synchronization solutions, these enhancements expand the potential uses of UDALink and the UDA Series product line.
“For a time, we saw limited interest in the Windows 8 operating system” reports Birket Foster, CEO of MB Foster Associates. “Over the last few months, we have noticed a number of inquiries about Windows 8 and IT projects requiring additional JDBC functionality. We wanted to be sure that our customers are able to leverage these important systems and technologies.”
Previous enhancements to the UDA Series product UDALink for MPE include:
– Allows a connection to metadata information for specific UIDs to be cached and to significantly increase connect speeds
- Powerhouse PDL version 8.49f support
- 64-bit ODBC driver for 64-bit computers and desktop applications
Raymond Bilodeau, Manager of R&D said he and his team of developers are very happy that customers continue to engage with us for enhancements and we are pleased to provide them and we thank our installed base for the opportunity.
